Requirements for the author's manuscripts
Scientific articles corresponding to the publication's profile are accepted for publication.
The presentation of the article should be clear, concise, without repetition. The authors are responsible for the accuracy of the facts, quotations and references provided. Articles that do not meet the specified requirements are not accepted for publishing.
Article size is 10–18 pages (Times New Roman font, size 14, line spacing 1.5, margins 2 cm, paragraph 1 cm).
Required publication elements:
The UDC (Universal Decimal Classifier) is placed in a separate line in the upper left corner. The UDC is determined by the author.
Information about the author (s) is indicated to the right in the following order: the first line is the name and surname of the author; the second is the ORCID number, academic degree and academic title; third line - position, place of work (full name); fourth line - the place where the author lives or works, and the name of the country (in brackets), e-mail. The name (s) of the author (s) are bold and italicized, while other information is italicized only. The author's first name is printed in capital letters. The ORCID number is assigned by the author (http://orcid.org/).
Article Title. It is advisable not to use complicated pseudoscientific terminology in the title. The title is capitalized in a single paragraph without the indentation of the first line, centered.
The abstract is submitted according to the construction: description of the main theme, problems, goals, summarized results. Minimum annotation volume is at least 1800 characters. Required is an adequate level of annotation translation. Required is an adequate level of annotation translation.
Keywords are words from the text of the material that, in terms of information retrieval, carry a meaningful load. Keywords are given in the nominative case. The total number of keywords is at least three and at most seven.
* Author information, article title, abstract and keywords are available in two languages: Ukrainian and English.
The main part of the article should contain the following structural elements: statement of the problem; research analysis; purpose of the article; presenting main material; conclusions. All parts of the article should be highlighted.
The list of used literature completes the article and is published under the heading "List of used sources". The bibliographic description of the list shall be made taking into account the DSTU 8302: 2015 developed in 2015 by the National Standard of Ukraine “Information and documentation. Bibliographic reference. General Terms and Conditions of Assembly. " References to the literature should be given by non-numeric and parenthetical references - by specifying the author's first name and year of parenthesis, separating the page number by a colon (Degtyarev, 2014: 12). If you cite a collection of articles, you can specify either the name of the editor (or compiler) of the collection, or one or two words from the name of the collection, instead of the author's name. Where reference is made to material not known to the author or compiler (newspaper article, etc.), one or two words from the beginning of the title of the article are also indicated (Letters and Telegrams, 2009). Names that are convenient for abbreviation may be abbreviated, for example, "Acts of the Caucasian Archeographic Commission" - AKAC (AKAK, 1881: 55-56). References to articles or books written jointly by two authors indicate both authors (Volosnik, Onatsky, 2016: 36). When referring to articles or books co-written by three or more authors, the first author's name should be given and "et al." Should be written (Ivanov et al., 2009); for foreign publications - "et al." (Smith et al., 2001). References to the works of the same author published in the same year should distinguish works by adding the Latin letters a, b, c to the year of publication (Petrov, 2006a), (Petrov, 2006b). Archival sources in the text are disclosed in full: (NAME. F. 12. Op. 31. Ref. 1154. Ark. 89).
In the article from the specialty 032 "History and Archeology" it is not recommended to cite in the text and include in the bibliographic lists those sources that were published after 1991 in the Russian language in any country, as well as sources in other languages, if they were published on the territory of Russia and Belarus . Citation of such sources, published after 1991, is allowed if the author of the article from the specialty 032 "History and Archeology" has the goal of refuting from a scientific point of view the myths and stereotypes of our enemy's propaganda.
References are given after the list of sources and literature used. Transliterated references should contain only relevant elements for analytical processing (authors name, source name, source data). In the literature list, titles in non-Latin alphabets must be translated into English and placed in square brackets; source names must be transliterated. At the end, specify the original language in parentheses. In the case of a book citation, the name of the publisher (if the name of the institution) must be translated into English, in all other cases translated, and the place of publication translated.

Prohibition of using scientific works of the occupying country
It is prohibited citing and including in the reference list russian-language contributions published in any country, incl. papers written in other languages but published in russia and belarus.
The following general rules should be followed when typing:
- put only one space between words;
- distinguish between dashes (-) and hyphen (-). A hyphen is a sign that connects parts of compound words. When printed, it has a small horizontal dash (-) and is not separated by spaces. A hyphen is a punctuation mark used to indicate straight speech, pauses, before it (it is), this, then, here (it) means. Dashes in the text are always separated by spaces;
- do not separate from the previous digit the sign of degree, second, percent (25 °; 5 '; 30' '; 77%);
- to separate by a continuous space (simultaneously pressing the Ctrl + Shift + Space) the signs and letters for the designation of volumes, parts, paragraphs, paragraphs, page numbers, etc. from the next digit (Vol. 7; Part 23; § 5; No. 34; C. 28-30); conventional notation of the units from the previous figure (45 pounds; 150 UAH; 32 km; 6 million; 45 thousand);
- to divide by an indivisible space the initials and the surname (VA Lavrenov); reduction after lists (type, etc., etc.), before names and surnames (Natalka, V. Vinnychenko), before geographical names (Chernivtsi, Moryntsi, Zolota Lypa );
- reduction of type 80s, 2nd printing due to a non-breaking hyphen (simultaneous pressing of the keys Strl + Shift + hyphen);
- quotes use paired ("");
- the apostrophe should look like this - ';
- give a dash without spaces. Before the abbreviations of the years, years, art. to put a continuous gap. If given in parentheses, the "years" should not be written (1861, 1945–1947, (1945–1947), XV – XVIII centuries). In conjunction with the designation of decades, put a dash with spaces between the dates: 40s - 50s, 1940s - 60s. 2012/13 budget year);
- time and number intervals should be formulated with dashes without spaces (July-August; 36-44);
- in digital data including more than five digits, put a continuous gap after every three digits (13 255; 457 357; 46 532,5 kg.).
